Is it too late to return to Elohim in repentance?

We read Elohim’s words in a prophecy through the Prophet  Zephaniah in Zephaniah 3: 10 – 13 in which He addresses the lost tribes of the house of Israel, who are presently located in Southern Africa, saying: “From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshippers, My dispersed ones (this is talking to the European descendants of the lost ten tribes who became Christianized before they eventually moved on to the USA the United Kingdom and those who are and were part of the commonwealth of Britton, namely Canada, New Zealand, Australia, but in this case specifically those who reside in Southern Africa), will bring My offerings. (11) In that day you will feel no shame because of all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; for then I will remove from your midst your proud, exulting ones, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain (Elohim’s government). (12) But I will leave among you a humble and lowly people, and they will take refuge in the name of YHVH. (13) The remnant of Israel will do no wrong and tell no lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths; for they shall feed and lie down with no one to make them tremble.” In this section of the Scriptures our heavenly Father is clearly telling us that He will save a remnant of all the lost sheep of the house of Israel, including those who are at this time of the end stuck in exile in Southern Africa.

But, again we see it is talking about a specific group, as shown in verses 18 – 20 of Zephaniah 3, as follows: ‘“I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts—they came from you, O Zion; the reproach of exile is a burden on them. (This verse clearly shows that YHVH is concerned about those members of the lost ten tribes called out of the Churches of the world, who started keeping the Feast Days of Elohim according to the way Zion, meaning the house of Judah is keeping it, who mourn since there are a number of believers in their midst, who even though they came out of the Churches of the world, still follow calendars of their own design or the one used by the Karaite’s in accordance with the sighting of the crescent moon.) (19) Behold, I am going to deal at that time with all your oppressors, I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will turn their shame into praise and renown in all the earth. (20) At that time I will bring you in, even at the time when I gather you together; indeed, I will give you renown and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, “says YHVH.’  It might not be too late to be saved at this time, but we see clearly that if we want to be saved, we will have to humble ourselves before YHVH in repentance if we want to enter the Promised Land during Messiah’s millennium rule. From the present condition of the society we live in, we are able to say without any doubt that we are living during the last days when we compare it with the way in which Rav Shaul describes these days in 2 Timothy 3: 1 – 5, saying: ‘But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. (2) For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, (3) unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, (4) treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather that lovers of Elohim; (5) holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these.’ We know from the prophecies written by Isaiah that it is during this time that we who are alive today and are part of the house of Israel whom He is busy calling from the Churches of the world, have a small window of time during which we need to return to YHVH whilst He may be found, as Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 55: 5 – 7, saying: “Behold, you will call a nation you do not know, and a nation which knows you not will run to you, because of YHVH your Elohim, even the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you.” (6) Seek YHVH while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. (7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to YHVH, and He will have compassion on him; and to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.’ Verse 7 clearly shows that it is talking about a people who once knew Elohim, since their forebears were part of those who renewed the covenant with YHVH at Horeb (as witnessed in Deuteronomy 29:  10 - 15[1]).”

Continuing in Isaiah 56: 1 & 2, Isaiah is prophesying about a time immediately before Messiah’s return, saying: ‘Thus says YHVH, “Preserve justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come and My righteousness to be revealed. (2) How blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who takes hold of it; who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Rav Shaul admonishes returnees to come out of the false churches where we used to fellowship in 2 Corinthians 6: 1 – 18, saying: ‘And working together with Him (Messiah), we also urge you not to receive the grace of Elohim in vain— (2) for He says, “AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU”; behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION”— (3) giving no cause for offense in anything, in order that the ministry be not discredited, (4) but in everything commending ourselves as servants of Elohim, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, (5) in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger, (6) in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Set-apart Spirit, in genuine love, (7) in the word of truth, in the power of Elohim; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left (in the underlined sections Rav Shaul mentions the two arms of Elohim portrayed in Kabbalah also described in Deuteronomy 33: 27), (8) by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true; (9) as unknown yet well-known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death, (10) as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things. (11) Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide. (12) You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections. (13) Now in a like exchange—I speak as to children—open wide to us also. (14) Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? (15) Or what harmony has Messiah with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? (16) Or what agreement has the temple of Elohim with idols? For we are the temple of the living Elohim; just as Elohim said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR ELOHIM, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. (17) Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says Adonai. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; and I will welcome you. (18) And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” says Adonai Almighty.’

Rav Shaul gives us more detail about the cut-off time when the two houses will be saved together in Romans 11: 25 – 29, saying: ‘For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to (Jewish)Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles (or members of the lost ten tribes who believe they are nothing but Gentiles, plus some real Gentiles) has come in; (26) and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION (meaning He is Jewish), HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB. (27) AND THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.” (28) From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of Elohim’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; (29) for the gifts and the calling of Elohim are irrevocable.”  We need to understand that when YHVH calls us out of the world, He wants us to start studying Torah, so that we may discover what we have been doing wrong in the past and return to Him by obeying what we read in His instruction manual. The problem is even when some answer the call to follow Elohim’s way of life, they do not always know what to do next, because they and their forefathers have been deceived for so long that they do not know where and how to start following the way of Elohim. In addition, Satan the master counterfeiter is always ready with yet another counterfeit to deceive the naïve amongst us and thereby keeping people from following YHVH in Spirit and in truth. We need to understand that even if YHVH calls real Gentiles, we need to be mindful of Elohim’s words in Numbers 15: 15; that the entire Torah is applicable to all who joins the Assembly of called-out believers and that we do not have a smorgasbord religion where we may pick and choose which Torah commands we keep and which not, as follows: ‘As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before YHVH.’  We are also aware of Elohim’s command in Leviticus 18: 3, not to worship Him according to pagan customs, as follows: ‘You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, nor are you to do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you; you shall not walk in their statutes.’

In the final chapter in Hosea 14: 8 & 9 YHVH tells us in a prophecy through Hosea that some in Ephraim will eventually cease to follow idols, saying: ‘O Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like a luxuriant cypress; from Me comes your fruit. (9) Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of YHVH are right, and the righteous will walk in them, but transgressors will stumble in them.’ This prophecy informs us that those who understand that Ephraim has worshipped idols will repent from doing so and are the ones who are considered to be ‘Wise’. But, what does this mean? We read the answer from Deuteronomy 4: 5 & 6, as follows: “See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as YHVH my Elohim commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. (6) So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ Hosea is very concise, direct and specific in detailing the house of Israel’s national attitude at this very time. Today the people of the house of Israel identify themselves as Gentiles. They think that the Jews and only the Jews are Israel. But very soon now, they will know their true identity. Yes, millions will get to know their identity when Yahshua the true Messiah returns. In Hosea 2: 8 & 9, Elohim reminds us that up to now we have possessed unprecedented wealth due to the birthrights promised to Abraham, saying: ‘For she does not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and lavished on her silver and gold, which they used for Baal. (9) Therefore, I will take back My grain at harvest time and My new wine in its season. I will also take away My wool and My flax given to cover her nakedness (her sin).’ At this time most are to stiff-necked and rebellious to realize that YHVH is actually punishing us for our sins, but finally, when the correction becomes intense enough, some of our peoples will acknowledge their sins and seek Elohim.

We read accordingly from verse 16: “And it will come about in that day,” declares YHVH, “That you will call Me Ishi (meaning my Husband) and will no longer call Me Baali (meaning my Lord). The second chapter of Hosea ends in verse 23, in this way: “And I will sow her for Myself in the land (the Promised Land). I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, and I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people! And they will say, ‘Thou art my Elohim!’”  Yes, at that time we will not refer to YHVH as our Lord and God any longer, but will refer to Him as YHVH our Husband and Elohim.  In Hosea 4: 1 – 3 we read Elohim’s message through Hosea to our Israelite people today, saying:  “Listen to the word of YHVH, O sons of Israel, for YHVH has a case against the inhabitants of the land, because there is no faithfulness or kindness or knowledge of Elohim in the land. (2) There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing, and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed. (3) Therefore the land mourns, and everyone who lives in it languishes (suffers and wastes away) along with the beasts of the field and the birds of the sky; and also the fish of the sea disappear.’ YHVH addresses the so-called religious leaders in Israel in verses 6 & 7, saying: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your children. (7) The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.” This is clearly telling us that these people rejected available knowledge and will therefore be rejected as priests, but it is also talking about the coming manifold intensity of corrective punishment, soon to be unleashed on our nations, as Elohim tells us in Hosea 5: 15, saying: “I will go away and return to My place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

Elohim further informs us through the prophet Amos in Amos 3: 7, saying: ‘Surely YHVH Elohim does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets.’ Returning to verse 6 of Amos 3, Elohim says to us: “If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not YHVH done it?” Elohim promises that He would get His warning message to His people Ephraim, before He corrects them and accordingly informs us through Hosea in Hosea 5: 9, saying: “Ephraim will become a desolation in the day of rebuke; among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure.” The problem is that even after Elohim caused floods in England, hurricanes in the USA, fires, floods and troubles with the laborers in South Africa, the people do not understand that He is punishing us through other people and the weather, because He wants us to return to Him. But, instead we continue with our non-Scriptural celebrations in honor of a false messiah; and do not even understand what the Scriptures have to say about it all. We read a further warning through Hosea in Chapter 7: 8 – 13, as follows: “Ephraim mixes himself with the nations; Ephraim has become a cake not turned. (9) Strangers devour his strength, yet he does not know it; gray hairs also are sprinkled on him, yet he does not know it. (10) Though the pride of Israel testifies against him, yet they have neither returned to YHVH their Elohim, nor have they sought Him, for all this. (11) So Ephraim has become like a silly dove, without sense; they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria. (12) When they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like the birds of the sky. I will chastise them in accordance with the proclamation to their assembly. (13) Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction is theirs, for they have rebelled against Me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against Me.” Elohim speaks about Ephraimite Churchianity in Hosea 4: 17 – 19, saying: “Ephraim is joined to idols; let him alone. (18) Their liquor gone, they play the harlot continually; their rulers dearly love shame. (19) The wind wraps them in its wings, and they will be ashamed because of their sacrifices.” The truth is that the entire book of Hosea carries a blistering message and warning to those from the British Commonwealth and USA. Elohim warns us and now tells us that the day of reckoning is here!

We read about the house of Israel from Deuteronomy 32: 15 – 17, in this way: “But Jeshurun (a pet name for Israel) grew fat and kicked— you are grown fat, thick, and sleek— then he forsook Elohim who made him, and scorned the Rock of his salvation (the same rock Yahshua mentioned in Matthew 7: 24 & 25; and 16: 18). (16) They made Him jealous with strange gods; with abominations they provoked Him to anger. (17) They sacrificed to demons who were not Elohim, to gods whom they have not known, new gods who came lately, whom your fathers did not dread.” Yahshua who was born a Jew, did not come to start a new religion and even though His way of interpreting and following Torah as a Jewish Rabbi discussed in Matthew 5, 6 & 7, was stricter than the Jews of His day, He did not come to do away with Judaism, as He also confirmed in Matthew 5: 17 – 20, saying: ‘Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. (18) For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished. (19) Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (20) For I say to you, that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven.’ The reason why Messiah’s interpretation of Torah was stricter than that of the Jews of His day was not because He viewed their interpretation as incorrect, but that He knew returning Israelites were prone to idolatry and fornication, as Rav Yaa’cov also ruled in Acts 15.

So what were the new gods that came lately spoken about in Deuteronomy 32 above? J*e*s*u*s* who is definitely a different person to the Yahshua we have just read about in Matthew 5, who did not abolish any of the Torah commands given in Torah, is one of the new gods who came up lately.  Yahshua’s mother or His disciples did not ever call Him by the name J*e*s*u*s* and to say that it is merely an English translation of the name Yahshua is pure nonsense. A person’s personal name is never changed from one language to another. The name of Vladimir Putin of Russia remains the same in any language; else people in other parts of the world would not know who you are talking about. In the same way is Bill Clinton known throughout the world. Yes, most English speakers know that Bill is short for William, as much as believers in Messiah know that Yahshua is short for Yahushua or Yehoshua the same name of the book of Scriptures immediately following Deuteronomy, which has been shortened to Joshua, which also means salvation (as does Hosea). Because Israel lightly esteemed the name of Elohim, He rejected them, as we read in Deuteronomy 32: 15 and as Nehemiah wrote about them in Nehemiah 9: 26 - 29, saying in his prayer to YHVH: “But they became disobedient and rebelled against Thee, and cast Thy law behind their backs and killed Thy prophets who had admonished them so that they might return to Thee, and they committed great blasphemies. (27) Therefore Thou didst deliver them into the hand of their oppressors who oppressed them, but when they cried to Thee in the time of their distress, Thou didst hear from heaven, and according to Thy great compassion thou didst give them deliverers who delivered them from the hand of their oppressors. (28) But as soon as they had rest, they did evil again before Thee; therefore Thou didst abandon them to the hand of their enemies, so that they ruled over them. When they cried again to Thee, Thou didst hear from heaven, and many times Thou didst rescue them according to Thy compassion, (29) and admonished them in order to turn them back to Thy law. Yet they acted arrogantly and did not listen to Thy commandments but sinned against Thine ordinances, by which if a man observes them he shall live. And they turned a stubborn shoulder and stiffened their neck, and would not listen.’  It is for this reason that YHVH sent the house of Israel a strong delusion, as Rav Shaul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2: 11 & 12, saying: ‘And for this reason Elohim will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false, (12) in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth (which is Torah according to Psalm 119: 142), but took pleasure in wickedness.’

But J*e*s*u*s* is one of two new gods that came up in the latter days. This is why the prophet Hosea wrote in Hosea 13: 1 – 4, saying: ‘When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling. He exalted himself in Israel, but through Baal (the Lord) he did wrong and died. (2) And now they sin more and more, and make for themselves molten images, idols skillfully made from their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. They say of them, “Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves!” (3) Therefore, they will be like the morning cloud, and like dew which soon disappears, like chaff which is blown away from the threshing floor, and like smoke from a chimney. (4) Yet I have been YHVH your Elohim since the land of Egypt; and you were not to know any god except Me, for there is no savior besides Me.’  Yes, Yahshua is not a second person in the so-called trinity, He is the image of the invisible Elohim; He is the word of Elohim who became flesh! Yahshua the Jewish Messiah was sent specifically to bring the lost ten tribes back to their original covenant relationship with Elohim and the house of David who ruled the commonwealth of Israel as the kingdom of Elohim on earth, as witnessed in 1 Chronicles 28: 4 & 5, in this way: “Yet, YHVH, the Elohim of Israel, chose me from all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever. For He has chosen Judah to be a leader; and in the house of Judah, my father’s house, and among the sons of my father He took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel. (5) And of all my sons (for YHVH has given me many sons), He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of YHVH over Israel.” The second new god that came up lately  was started by the Roman Catholic Church to harass the house of Judah and is none other than the Islamic deity called Allah – the curse YHVH promised to pour out on all Israel because they transgressed His law and turned aside not obeying His voice in Daniel 9: 11.

But since this is not the topic under discussion, we continue to find additional information about the second exodus of the house of Israel in Ezekiel 20: 33 - 44, after they returned to the covenant with Elohim, when Messiah comes to rule the commonwealth of Israel as the model nation YHVH intended them to be when He initially called them out of Egypt 3,500 years ago, as follows: “As I live,” declares YHVH Elohim, “surely with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out, I shall be king over you. (34) And I shall bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out; (35) and I shall bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I shall enter into judgement with you face to face. (36) As I entered into judgement with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgement with you,” declares Adonai Elohim. (37) And I shall make you pass under the rod, and I shall bring you into the bond of the covenant; (38) and I shall purge from you the rebels and those who transgress against Me; I shall bring them out of the land where they sojourn, but they will not enter the land of Israel. Thus you will know that I am YHVH. (39) As for you, O house of Israel,” says Adonai Elohim, “Go, serve everyone his idols; but later, you will surely listen to Me, and My holy name you will profane no longer with your gifts and with your idols. (40) For on My holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel,” declares Adonai Elohim, “There the whole house of Israel, all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I shall accept them, and there I shall seek your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holy things. (41) As a soothing aroma I shall accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I shall prove Myself holy among you in the sight of the nations. (42) And you will know that I am YHVH, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the land which I swore to give to your forefathers. (43) And there you will remember your ways and all your deeds, with which you have defiled yourselves; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for all the evil things that you have done. (44) Then you will know that I am YHVH when I have dealt with you for My name’s sake, not according to your evil ways or according to your corrupt deeds, O house of Israel,: declares Adonai Elohim’”

The main aim of the punishment that YHVH is about to meet out on the house of Israel is to bring us to our senses and help us return to Him in repentance, but it is very difficult to convince most of those from the house of Israel who lost our identity, language and any knowledge of the covenant our forefathers made with Elohim at Mount Sinai, about their true identity. Very few today realize that the parable of the prodigal son who asked his father to give him the portion of inheritance due to him and left his father and wasted it on loose living, until eventually he had to find work feeding pigs to make a living, in Luke 15, is about the two houses of Israel. It was only when the prodigal son was down and out that he came to his senses and decided to return to go back to his father to ask him to work for him as a servant. But, when his father saw him on his way back, he ordered his servants to prepare a fatted calf so that they may welcome him back. But, when the eldest son saw that his father prepared a feast for the returning son, he became jealous and reminded his father that even though he always remained with him, his father never slaughtered a fatted calf for him. Then his father responded to him in verses 31 & 32, saying: “My child, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours. (32) But we had to be merry and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.” Many Christians do not want to accept the fact that they are Israel and that the Jews were destined to preserve the Oracles of Elohim for all Israel, over the past 2730 years. They preserved the Hebrew language, the timing of the Sabbath, the Set-apart days of Elohim and the oral Torah regarding the Koshering of food for both houses. I pray that by this exposure of the identity of the Tribes of Israel, many will begin to understand the value of the Word of Elohim in their lives and will as a result determine to obey Elohim, rather than the doctrines of men.

During the millennium those who survive the Great Tribulation from both houses of Israel will come together to live as the commonwealth of Israel ruled over by King David. After the millennium those of the two houses of Israel who never knew Yahshua and did not keep Torah, will be resurrected and be shown the way of Elohim. Those who will out of their own free accept Yahshua as their savior and are willing to follow the way of Elohim, will be changed into Spiritual children of Elohim, but those who reject the way of Elohim will be burned to ashes as explained in Malachi 4: 1. After that the New Jerusalem will come down to earth as witnessed in Revelation 22, but we see that it will only have 12 gates; one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel and that there will be no gates for the various denominations of Christianity or for any other religions for that matter. The laws applicable in the Kingdom of Elohim will be the same ones given to Moses at Mount Sinai. We will keep the Feast Days as given in Leviticus 23 and the Kosher Laws given in Leviticus 11, Deuteronomy 14, Genesis 32: 32 and Leviticus 3: 16 & 17. That will truly be the restored Israel of Elohim, otherwise known as the Kingdom of Elohim.

Fellow Israelites this is wonderful news and it seems that YHVH is calling us back to return to Him and His way in our generation. He is calling hundreds of Israelites who previously thought that they were Gentiles and have only known their G-d through the watered down faith called Christianity, to return to Him. If we heed His call, then He will restore us together with Judah to be His United Israel again. However, we will have to return fully to Torah to start this walk with our Father YHVH: We will have to keep the weekly and annual Sabbaths; eat Kosher; believe that YHVH is One and only One; call on His Name and be circumcised in both heart and flesh. It is clear from the afore-going that this is the will of our heavenly Father. Let us therefore do our small part in restoring the two Houses of Israel, which we know will only come about fully, when Yahshua returns to usher in the Kingdom of Elohim! Baruch HaShem YHVH!

[1] Deuteronomy 29: 10 – 15: “You stand today, all of you, before YHVH your Elohim’ your chiefs, your tribes, your elders and your officers, even all the men of Israel, your little ones, your wives, and the alien who is within your camps, from the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water, that you may enter into the covenant with YHVH your Elohim, and into His oath which YHVH your Elohim is making with you today, in order that He may establish you today as His people and that He may be your Elohim, just as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Now not with you alone am I making this covenant and this oath, but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of YHVH our Elohim and with those who are not with us here today.”
