Warning to shepherds.

As much as those of us whom YHVH has called to become first-fruits in following the way of Elohim, we are to be examples to those who come after us, as explained by Rav Yaa’cov in James 1: 18 - 22, saying:  ‘In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we might be, as it were, the first fruits among His creatures. (19) This you know, my beloved brethren. But let everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; (20) for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of Elohim. (21) Therefore putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls (lives). (22) But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.’ At the beginning of our walk with Elohim, we need to listen more than what we talk and reason about the word of Elohim, since at that time we are considered babes in knowledge and understanding.  Instead we should start studying and practicing Torah and obtain knowledge that will lead to salvation.

King David confirmed this in Psalm 19: 7, saying: ‘The law (Torah) of YHVH is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of YHVH is sure, making wise the simple.’ In the beginning we should be more concerned about attending worship services on the Feast Days ordained by Elohim, including the Sabbath and eating kosher food which are included in the four issues discussed in Acts 15: 20, namely to: abstain from things contaminated by idols (including Xmas and Easter celebrations and all its trimmings) and from fornication (living together without any marital commitment, but also any form of adultery) and from what is strangled and from blood (both these issues involve eating food that is properly slaughtered which includes ensuring that all the blood of the animal is taken out before cooking the same, but it also includes a kosher marriage relationship, where men and women remain separate during periods of menstruation).

Rav Yaa’cov warned prospective teachers in James 3: 1, saying: ‘Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we shall incur a stricter judgment.’ When after studying for an extended period under a Torah teacher, the disciples of such a Torah teacher will become knowledgeable enough about the Scriptures to begin to teach their own disciples. That is how YHVH planned to perpetuate His congregation of called out believers until Messiah returns one day. However, those who eventually teach new believers whom Elohim calls out of the world, need to be very careful what they teach these new believers, as Yahshua warned in Matthew 18: 5 – 7, saying: “And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; (6) but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea. (7) Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!” Those of us, who teach Elohim’s called out people, need to make absolutely sure that what we teach comes only from the word of Elohim, namely The Scriptures. Churchianity has been lied to for so long, that they have started believing a lie. In fact it is believed that Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda said: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.’ Satan through his many human agents managed to sell Churchianity his biggest desire and ultimate destiny as their main doctrine; that is, that good people go to heaven if they die and the wicked to eternal hell fire, as a major doctrine of theirs. Satan rebelled against Elohim and wanted to go to heaven and take over Elohim’s throne, but he was ultimately thrown down to earth as may be read from Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire before the great White Throne Judgment and the second resurrection, as witnessed in Revelation 20: 10.

The Scriptures have harsh words for the Shepherds of sheep who preach false doctrines. This is indeed a somber warning for many of those who believe they speak for YHVH. Do you teach doctrines from a few disconnected passages and ignore the ones which do not support your theory? Are you one of those who unknowingly preach false doctrines and another gospel to the one Messiah preached whilst He was on earth? Are you one of those Shepherds who have cheapened the grace of YHVH and are busy bringing His most Set-apart name to naught? Do you also teach that Torah is no longer binding on us and that Yahshua rescinded the strict Laws of His Father? Don’t you realize that this is not according to the word of Elohim as He says through Isaiah in Isaiah 56: 1, in this way: “Preserve justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come and My righteousness to be revealed.” What is this saying? It tells us that despite Yahshua’s first coming, as well as His second coming, we are even now expected to do righteousness (or keep Torah). Yahshua’s first coming was for the salvation of His people as His name aptly showed in Matthew 1: 21, as follows: “And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Yahshua (the Salvation of (YHVH)’s people), for it is He who will save His people from their sin.”  However, when Yahshua comes again He is coming to rule the world from Jerusalem, when (YHVH)’s righteousness will be revealed as witnessed in Jeremiah 23: 5 & 6, in this way: “Behold, the days are coming,” declares YHVH, “When I shall raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. (6) In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘YHVH our righteousness.’”’ People who are not fully trained should not teach Elohim’s people, since half-truths could result in some people losing out on eternal life! We have to worship YHVH in the way that He prescribes in His word or not at all. Yahshua made it plain that when we start following Him, we need to make certain that we follow people who know the truth, as He said in Matthew 7: 13 – 17: “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. (14) For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it. (15) Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. (16) You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? (17) Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit.”  Yahshua continued explaining that there are many who call on His name, but who are not building His congregation of called our believers on Him and what He taught whilst He was on earth, saying in verses 21 – 24, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. (22) Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ (23) And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ (24) Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock.” Again, what is Yahshua saying here?  Well, He is telling us, that if we truly want to follow Him in the way He walked and want to build our house on Him the rock of our salvation, we need to do the will of the Father and stop practicing lawlessness in the way that we live our lives.

We need to be mindful of Yahshua’s answer to the Scribe who asked Him in Mark 12: 28, saying; “What commandment is the foremost of all?” (29) Yahshua answered, “The foremost is, ‘HEAR, O ISRAEL! YHVH OUR ELOHIM IS ONE YHVH; (30) AND YOU SHALL LOVE YHVH YOUR ELOHIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR  SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR  MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ (31)The second is this, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”  Yahshua also said to the Samarian woman in John 4: 22, “You worship that which you do not know; we worship that which we know, for salvation is from the Jews.”  After reading Messiah’s words, ask yourself as a member of the house of Israel: Do you still believe in two (YHVH)’s; and who is your neighbor?  As members of the remnant of the house of Israel who have returned to the covenant we made with Elohim, together with Brother Judah at Mount Sinai, our neighbor consists of all those from the house of Judah, as well as returnees from the lost tribes of Israel, including those who remain lost at present. We should keep the same Sabbaths (weekly and annual) and observe all the other commandments with our Jewish Brothers, so as to make them jealous, but we should also proclaim the gospel of the coming kingdom of Elohim to those in the House of Israel who remain lost at this time, giving them hope of a better world to come. Yes, those who always have something negative to say about our Jewish Brothers, need to be very careful what they say, remembering that if you curse Elohim’s chosen people, you curse yourself. Yes, even though  a small number of Israelites from the lost ten tribes have also become Elohim’s chosen people once again, as testified in Romans 11: 5[1], we need to be mindful that the house of Judah is Elohim’s chosen people as is confirmed in Psalm 78: 67 & 68, in this way: ‘He (YHVH) also rejected the tent of Joseph, and did not choose the tribe of Ephraim, (68) but chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which He loved.’  But before we wander off from the discussion in Isaiah 56, let’s read from verse 2 what YHVH tells us through Isaiah, as follows: “How blessed is the man who does this (preserve justice and do righteousness), and the son of man who takes hold of it; who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Anyone who puts in only a little effort will not find so much as even a hint in all of the Scriptures that the Sabbath was to be changed to Sunday. As mentioned in an earlier lesson, the Scriptures show the Sabbath to be a perpetual sign, identifying the people of YHVH, as well as Him the true Elohim. The Hebrew word perpetual (ﬠולם) transliterated as ‘Olam’ means without end. It describes eternity. But, the churches of the world do not fully understand the word ‘perpetual’ and it is for this reason that some church pastors teach that it doesn’t matter which days we keep to worship on, as long as we keep one out of seven. Those who teach this will have to answer at the Judgment seat of Yahshua after His Millennial rule and the second resurrection. We see that even though it was always Elohim’s intention to save most of the people that He created, except for the irredeemable wicked, those who teach that Torah is done away with, will at that time be called the least in the Kingdom of Elohim, as He prophesied in Matthew 5: 17 – 19, saying: “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish , but to fulfill (or make it more binding, as may be seen from reading from verses 21 – 48). (18) For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished. (19) Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

The reason why Yahshua mentioned heaven and earth in verse 18, is that when YHVH gave our forebears, ancient Israel His Torah teachings as a marriage covenant between Him and them and their children after them, He called heaven and earth to witness against them, that they would be blessed for keeping the law and be punished for not doing so, as may be read in Deuteronomy 30: 19 & 20, as follows: “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, (20) by loving YHVH your Elohim, by obeying His voice (notice love and obedience are in total agreement), and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which YHVH swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”  Heaven and earth are still here, are they not? Did Yahshua lie, or is Torah still valid? If so, why do some claim that it is no longer applicable to followers of Yahshua? Could it be because Satan has a vested interest in this deception? Most in Churchianity disregard the warnings to the house of Israel in the Tanach (known as the so-called ‘Old Testament’ to them), as being something applicable to the Jews only, or as having already being accomplished. However, this is a big mistake, since the house of Israel is definitely separate from the house of Judah at this time, even though the two houses will again one day at Messiah’s return, be united under His rulership.  When Herbert Armstrong from the Church of G-d and people like Messer’s Dugger and Dodd of the Church of G-d Seventh Day introduced the two house doctrine to Churchianity more than 80 years ago, many regarded them as cult-leaders who did not know what they were talking about. However, the two house doctrine is totally Scriptural, starting in Genesis with our fathers in the faith, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and concluding in the book of Revelation 21 where we see that the Temple of Elohim which will come down from heaven will have only twelve gates, as per verses 10 - 12, in this way: ‘And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Elohim, (11) having the glory of Elohim. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. (12) It had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.’  It is because of not knowing who the lost ten tribes of Israel is, that people do not believe the true gospel of the coming Kingdom of Elohim, during which the fallen tabernacle of David will be restored. It is also for this very reason that Churchianity does not understand Yahshua’s main purpose of coming to reconcile us to the Father, but also to Brother Judah.

Very few people understood what Yahshua meant in the short discussion with the Pharisees in Matthew 9: 11 – 13, as follows: ‘And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, ‘Why is your Teacher eating with the tax-gatherers and sinners? (12) But when He heard this, He said, ‘It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. (13) But go and learn what this means, ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.’”  Yahshua did not come to teach our Jewish Brothers about YHVH and His Torah, or as some believe to convert Jews to Christianity. No He came specifically as He said to the Canaanite woman who asked Him to heal her demon possessed daughter, saying: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”  In fact He confirmed this earlier in Matthew 10 when He sent His disciples out the first time in verses 5 -8 saying: “Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; (6) but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (7) And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ (This does not mean we are going to heaven at death, but as Yahshua also told His disciples to pray  for Elohim’s Kingdom, which is currently in heaven to come to earth in Matthew 6: 10.) (8) Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons; freely you received, freely give.” This last sentence is also something that not many in Churchianity would like to hear – yes, we have to teach those whom YHVH calls to be immersed and taught by us, for free since we received it freely. The Lost sheep of the house of Israel were those who were taken captive by Assyria more than 700 years before Messiah’s first advent. These people, who were our forebears lived amongst the Gentiles and lost the Hebrew culture, religion and ways and became like the pagans amongst whom they lived. They were deceived by Satan and his many human agents to believe that they are the followers of the Jewish Messiah and called themselves after His Greek title Christ which is said to mean the same as the Hebrew word Messiah. But Yahshua our Messiah was a born Jew and never denounced his Jewish faith throughout His three and a half years ministry on earth. In fact His followers remained Jewish in nature and were known as Nazarenes, a sect of the Jewish Pharisees of Messiah’s day, as may be confirmed in Acts 15: 5 and Acts 24: 5 & 14. But the lost sheep of the house of Israel were still in dispersion when Yahshua our Messiah walked the earth, as can be seen from the question they asked Him immediately before His ascension to heaven[2], in Acts 1: 6, in this way: ‘And so when they had come together, they were asking Him saying, “Master, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom (of Elohim) to Israel?”’ In fact we have a witness of the historian, a contemporary of Yahshua, who stated the lost ten tribes were still scattered at that time and were a vast number, which could not be counted. In fact several of the so-called gospel letters were addressed to these Israelites in dispersion, as witnessed in first Peter 1: 1, as follows: ‘Kepha, an apostle of Yahshua Messiah, to those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen.’  It is only once those who are called out of the false religions of the world to return to the faith of our fathers in the faith, that Messiah’s apostles will deal with them as equals. In this case they were called aliens (or strangers) throughout Pontus, Galatia (‘Galut’ in transliterated Hebrew meaning exiles), Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, chosen to return to the covenant with YHVH through the blood of Yahshua.

First Peter 2: 9 & 10 associates these scattered people with the house of Israel and not Judah, since it is reversing the curse placed on them by YHVH through the prophet Hosea in Hosea 1. The book of Yaa’cov was written to the 12 tribes which are scattered abroad. The house of Judah returned to the Promised Land 70 years after their captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar and again en masse in 1948 after World War II. But what about the Corinthians, were they Gentiles?  Rav Shaul  did not regard them as Gentiles since we see from first Corinthians 10: 1, that he refers to them as brethren, but add further in verse 1, saying: “that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea.” It is clear therefore that Rav Shaul viewed these Corinthians as part of the lost sheep of the house of Israel. In addition we see from John 7: 35 that the Jews of Messiah’s day also thought that some of the people in Greece were part of the lost ten tribes of Israel, as follows: ‘The Jews therefore said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we shall not find Him? He is not intending to go to the Dispersion (Diaspora) among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks is He?”’  YHVH planned to preserve knowledge about Messiah Yahshua in scattered Israel. Yes, Judah rejected Him, but has preserved the Oracles of YHVH, which were entrusted to them. Even if it seems impossible to prove the existence of the lost ten tribes, YHVH has preserved knowledge about them throughout the Scriptures, even though it is not always readily accessible to those who are blinded to it at this time. All twelve tribes of Israel, (or more correct all 13 tribes including the tribe of Levi who remained with Judah, when Jeroboam made priests from among all the people who were not from the tribe of Levi) are necessary to make it possible for YHVH to restore the Tabernacle of David which has fallen.

(YHVH)’s plan is to bring all twelve tribes together when Messiah returns, as He explained through the prophet Ezekiel 37: 21 – 25, saying: “And say to them, ‘Thus says YHVH Elohim, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; (22) and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into two kingdoms. (23) And they will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people and I will be their Elohim. (24) And My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statues, and observe them. (25) And they shall live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons, and their sons’ sons, forever; and David My servant shall be their prince forever.‘” The Jews are presently separate from the house of Israel, which consists of ten of the lost tribes, together making up the 13 tribes of the ancient nation of Israel. The house of Judah today consists of three tribes, namely Judah, Benjamin and Levi. Because the Jews retained their culture, faith and returned to their language, they remained identifiable throughout the past 2800 years and especially after their return from captivity about 2500 years ago, when Ezra and Nehemiah returned to the Promised Land to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and the Temple. It is therefore important to understand that when you read the word ‘Israel’ in the Scriptures, it is not always talking about the Jews, which was but one of the 13 tribe nation.  Most of the time when you see the word Israel, it refers to the 10 tribe house of Israel and not the 3 tribe house of Judah.

Continuing with the discussion in Isaiah 56, we read Elohim’s warning to shepherds from verses 3 – 12, as follows: ‘Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to YHVH say, “YHVH will surely separate me from His people.” Neither let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.” (4) For thus says YHVH, “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant, (5) to them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial, and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which will not be cut off. (6) Also the foreigners who join themselves to YHVH, to minister to Him, and to love the name of YHVH, to be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant; (7) Even those I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” (8) YHVH, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, “Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered.” (9) All you beasts of the field, all you beasts in the forest, come to eat. (10) His watchmen are blind, all of them know nothing. All of them are dumb dogs unable to bark, dreamers lying down, who love to slumber; (11) and the dogs are greedy, they are not satisfied. And they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each one to his unjust gain, to the last one. (12) “Come,” they say, “let us get wine, and let us drink heavily of strong drink; and tomorrow will be like today, only more so.”’ When anyone returns to Elohim and His Torah through Yahshua, he/she becomes Israel. Whereas YHVH is calling mostly people from the lost ten tribes of Israel to return to Him at this time through Messiah, there are some Gentiles who also respond to His call, especially when those whom He calls from the lost ten tribes reject His call, because they are too busy or get ridiculed by family and friends. This is also supported by the parable in Matthew 22: 2 – 14, where the king invites guests to his son’s wedding and those whom he calls refuse because of their many other worries and responsibilities in this world, then He sends his slaves to go into the highways and invite virtually anybody. Later on when he comes to the reception and sees someone without wedding clothes on (meaning they did not wash their garments in the word – did not keep Torah) He chased him out into the outer darkness. It is also here in verse 14 where we read that many are called but few are chosen.

The above is a comparatively mild warning if you consider the one in Isaiah 66: 15 – 23 which is to occur on the day of YHVH; the day of (YHVH)’s vengeance on the earth, not Sunday as some believe, in this way: ‘For behold, YHVH will come in fire and His chariots like the whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. (16) For YHVH will execute judgment by fire and by His sword on all flesh, and those slain by YHVH will be many. (17) Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the gardens, following one in the center, who eat swine’s flesh, detestable things, and mice, shall come to an end altogether, declares YHVH. (18) For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory. (19) And I will set a sign among them and will send survivors from them to the nations: Tarshish, Put, Lud, Meshech, Rosh, Tubal, and Javan, to the distant coastlands that have neither heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations. (20) “Then they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations as a grain offering to YHVH, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem”, says YHVH, “just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering (first fruits) in a clean vessel to the house of YHVH. (21) I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites”, says YHVH. (22) “For just as the new heavens and the new earth which I make will endure before Me”, declares YHVH, “So your offspring and your name will endure. (23) And it shall be from new moon to new moon and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all mankind will come to bow down before Me” says YHVH.’  Here we are told that there will be survivors of these pig eaters and because of what they will see, they will declare Elohim’s esteem to the rest of the nations of the world. We also see that despite those who teach that the Levitical Priesthood came to an end when Messiah died, we see here that some of us, who were chosen as first fruits will become priests and Levites. Notice also verse 23 does not say from one Sunday to the next, but from Sabbath to Sabbath and New Moon (New Month according to the Hebrew calendar) to New Moon. The average teacher might dismiss this lightly, but failure to keep Elohim’s annual Sabbaths according to the Feast Days kept in Judah was but one of the reasons for their dispersion into the world.

Xmas was officially adopted into Christianity during the 5th century on the exclusive authority of the Roman Catholic Church. Lent which also has no Scriptural basis has always been associated with sun worship and the Spring Equinox.  Does it matter to YHVH that these were originally pagan festivals? We get the answer from Deuteronomy 12: 29 – 32, in this way: “When YHVH your Elohim cuts off before you the nations which you are going in to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land, (30) beware that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods, that I also may do likewise?’ (31) You shall not behave thus toward YHVH your Elohim, for every abominable act which YHVH hates they have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. (32) Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it.’ Does this sound like it does not matter to YHVH? When Aaron decided the timing of a Feast Day to Elohim  (other than those He already specified in Exodus 23), when he also made a golden calf for the nation to worship, whilst Moses went up on Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments from YHVH, YHVH wanted to wipe the nation out and start all over with Moses alone, as witnessed in Exodus 32: 9 & 10, as follows: ‘And YHVH said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold they are an obstinate people. (10) Now then let them alone, that My anger may burn against them, and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation.” As Israelites we have truly inherited lies from our fathers. Do you realize that a large percentage of what you were taught by Churchianity is not true? Do you really have a love for truth? We are suitably warned about those who teach traditions of men rather than the truth of YHVH that can only come from His word, in Colossians 2: 8, where he wrote: ‘See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy (religion) and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Messiah.’  These are lies which are traditions of men and practices of the world incorporated into the worship system of Churchianity to make it more acceptable to the newly converted pagan to their faith. The congregants trust in their pastors for truth, but are being fed lies. Even if some tell you 95% truth and 5% lies, the mixture is like a glass of milk filled with 5% arsenic, a deadly mixture, which will eventually cause death. It is therefore important for those of us who are teaching others, to make absolutely sure about the truth, before teaching Elohim’s people. We read the following harsh judgment for teaching Elohim’s people falsehood from 2 Thessalonians 2: 7, in this way: ‘For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.’  The Law spoken about here is not manmade laws, but (YHVH)’s Torah. We see that the mystery of lawlessness was already working in Rav Shaul’s time, as much of the house of Israel was not keeping Torah at that time.  The workers of lawlessness or iniquity are those who teach that Torah has been abolished and do not keep it themselves. Rav Shaul continues in verses 8 – 12 , saying: ‘And then that lawless one will be revealed whom YHVH will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; (9) that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, (10) and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. (11) And for this reason Elohim will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false, (12) in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.’

Those whom YHVH is calling back at this time should be most thankful that He remained faithful to the many promises that He made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as He confirms in Malachi 3: 6, saying: “For I, YHVH, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob (all twelve tribes, not only Judah), are not consumed.” Even though your copy of the Scriptures might say ‘LORD’ in place of YHVH, if you look in the foreword of your Scriptures, as in the case of the New American Standard Bible under the ‘Principles of Translation’, you will notice that the translators took the liberty to change the title Elohim to ‘God’ and Elohim’s personal name YHVH or YHWH to ‘LORD’ to as they put it, ‘in order to avoid confusion.’  Why is it necessary for those of us who used to believe that we were Gentiles, to confess that our fathers taught us nothing but lies? Because these lies were perpetuated by the religious leaders who taught the Israelites in amongst the nations where they were scattered, Jeremiah continues saying in Jeremiah 23: 1 – 4: “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares YHVH. (2) Therefore thus says YHVH Elohim of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds,” declares YHVH.  (3) Then I Myself shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and shall bring them back to their pasture; and they will be fruitful and multiply. (4) I shall also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares YHVH’ Since we have already quoted verses 5 & 6, we continue in verses 7 – 22 of Jeremiah 23, as follows: ‘Therefore behold, the days are coming, declares YHVH, when they will no longer say, “As YHVH lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,” (8) but, “As YHVH lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.” Then they will live on their own soil.  (9) As for the prophets: My heart is broken within me, all my bones tremble; I have become like a drunken man, even like a man overcome with wine, because of YHVH and because of His holy words. (10) For the land is full of adulterers; for the land mourns because of the curse. The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course also is evil, and their might is not right. (11) For both prophet and priest are polluted; even in My house I have found their wickedness, declares YHVH. (12) Therefore their way will be like slippery paths to them, they will be driven away into the gloom and fall down in it; for I shall bring calamity upon them, the year of their punishment, declares YHVH. (13) Moreover, among the prophets of Samaria I saw an offensive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led My people Israel astray, (14) Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: The committing of adultery and walking in falsehood; and they strengthen the hand of evildoers, so that no one has turned back from his wickedness. All of them have become to Me like Sodom, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah. (15) Therefore thus says YHVH of hosts concerning the prophets, behold, I am going to feed them wormwood and make them drink poisonous water, for from the prophets of Jerusalem pollution has gone forth into all the land. (16) Thus says YHVH of hosts, “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into futility; they speak a vision of their own imagination, not from the mouth of YHVH. (17) They keep saying to those who despise Me, YHVH has said, “You will have peace”; and as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, they say, “Calamity will not come upon you.” (18) But who has stood in the council of YHVH, that he should see and hear His word? Who has given heed to His word and listened? (19) Behold, the storm of YHVH has gone forth in wrath, even a whirling tempest; it will swirl down on the head of the wicked. (20) The anger of YHVH will not turn back until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart; in the last days you will clearly understand it. (21) I did not send these prophets, but they ran. I did not speak to them, but they prophesied. (22) But if they had stood in My council, then they would have announced My words to My people, and would have turned them back from their evil way and from the evil of their deeds.’

Many in the churches of the world have come to believe that they are saved and even born-again. However, the truth is that only Yahshua was born-again as the first-born from the dead (as per Colossians 2: 15, 18 and Revelation 1: 5). Most of those who died in (the true) Messiah and believed Him when He said in John 3: 13, “And no one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven, even the Son of Man”, will if we remain faithful to YHVH and His Torah and our faith in Messiah to the end, qualify one day to be born-again as Spirit beings when we are resurrected at Messiah’s return to earth.  This is when Messiah will establish Elohim’s Kingdom on earth, as it is now in heaven.  In support of this we read from Psalm 115: 16, “The heavens are the heavens of YHVH; but the earth He has given to the sons of men.”  As human beings we are earth bound, but the heavens belong to YHVH alone. It is clear therefore that Yahshua was indeed YHVH our righteousness as identified in Jeremiah 23: 6; as He came from heaven and also went back after His resurrection. Mankind together with father Abraham will inherit the earth, perpetually.  Those not in the first resurrection, will be resurrected as humans in the second resurrection, to be taught a second time when the Scriptures will be opened to their minds, allowing them to make an informed decision as to follow Elohim and His way or not, after which they will also be changed into spiritual children of Elohim (as per Revelation 20: 12 & Isaiah 25: 7 – 9). Those not prepared to listen at that time, will simply be burned to ashes (as per Malachi 4: 1).  Do not be deceived, YHVH will not tolerate any lawlessness in His Kingdom, consisting of Him and His Spiritual offspring. I hope this inspires those who have ears to hear, to do what is right in Elohim’s sight and if you do not have knowledge that leads to salvation – stop teaching Elohim’s people and be ready to learn! Think about it!
