How will the Kingdom of Elohim benefit us?

The Kingdom of Israel was split in two because of the sins of King Solomon and Rehoboam, Solomon’s son continued to rule the house of Judah consisting of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi, whilst YHVH gave the house of Israel consisting of ten tribes to Jerobaom a once loyal servant to King Solomon, to rule over. But because Jeroboam caused the house of Israel to sin, since he was afraid that they would return to Jerusalem to keep Elohim’s annual Feast Days with the house of Judah, he changed the Feast Days to fall a month later than those Elohim ordained for Judah. In addition he set up two golden calves, one in Bethel and the other one in Dan, telling the nation that these are their gods who brought them out of Egypt and made priests from among all the people who were not of the sons of Levi.

We read Elohim’s response to Jeroboam in first Kings 14: 7 – 9, in this way: “Go, say to Jerobaom, ‘Thus says YHVH Elohim of Israel, “Because I exalted you from among the people and made you leader over My people Israel, (8) and tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you—yet you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only that which was right in My sight; (9) you also have done more evil than all who were before you, and have gone and made for yourself other gods and molten images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back--.”  We need to call to mind that this occurred in the ancient nation of Israel, despite the promises that YHVH made to King David and which David wrote about in Psalm 89: 27 – 37, saying: “I also shall make him My first-born, the highest of the kings of the earth. (28) My lovingkindness I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall be confirmed to him. (29) So I will establish his descendants forever, and his throne as the days of heaven. (30) If his sons forsake My law, and do not walk in My judgments, (31) if they violate My statutes, and do not keep My commandments, (32) then I will visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. (33) But I will not break off My lovingkindness from him, nor deal falsely in My faithfulness. (34) My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips. (35) Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. (36) His descendants shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. (37) It shall be established forever like the moon, and the witness in the sky is faithful.”

After both houses of Israel were taken captive the kingdom of Israel did not have a king again, even though the house of Judah returned to the Promised Land 70 years after their captivity by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.  Even so, the prophets foretold of another king who will eventually be born in the Promised Land to rule over the commonwealth of Israel forever, as YHVH promised King David. We read the prophecy in this regard from Isaiah 11: 1 – 3, as follows: ‘Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. (2) And the Spirit of YHVH will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of YHVH. (3) And He will delight in the fear of YHVH, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear.’  Although we know that this was essentially talking about the Messiah, His first coming was definitely not to establish His Kingdom on earth, yet. But, since He qualified to take over the rulership of the entire universe when after He was immersed by Yochanan the Immerser, He resisted Satan’s temptation after fasting for 40 days in the wilderness, and as we read from Matthew 4: 17, ‘From that time Yahshua began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”  Immediately after this He started calling His first disciples to train them for a period of three and a half years, to immerse and teach their followers what He taught them whilst He was on earth.

After delivering His first teaching in the synagogue, we read the following about Him from Luke 4: 38 – 44, ‘And He arose and left the synagogue, and entered Simon’s home. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever; and they made request of Him on her behalf. (39) And standing over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she immediately arose and waited on them.’  (Wow, let’s stop here for a moment, as the reason why the Roman Catholic Priests insist they are prohibited from marrying, is because they believe that Simon Peter whom J*e*s*u*s* commissioned as the founding father of the ‘church’  was never married. As a result they started referring to the Pope in office at any time as the ‘Pater’ – meaning father in Latin. They accordingly regard Simon Peter as the apostle ordained to rule over the Gentile church, giving the Pope in office the power  to change the times and laws according to which people should worship G-d.  Nevertheless the truth of the matter is that Simon Peter was never in Rome, and as clearly shown here he had a mother-in-law, and must have been married. Simon Peter was also totally aware that Messiah and not he was the foundation upon which we the congregation, as building blocks or stones are being built up as the temple of Elohim, as he aptly explained in first Peter 2: 5 – 10.The truth of the matter is that Paul (or more correctly Shaul) was the apostle Yahshua sent to Rome as we read from Acts 26: 14 – 18, as follows: “And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew dialect, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ (15) And I said, ‘Who art Thou, Master?’ And the Master said, ‘I am Yahshua whom you are persecuting. (16) But arise, and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; (17) delivering you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles to whom I am sending you, (18) to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to Elohim, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’”  The only Simon who went to Rome was Simon Magus who started a Church system charging money for religious services (as may be read from Acts 8: 9 – 23). This is a major part of Satan’s deception to ensure that the Pope {false prophet} remains in charge of the Christian church.  But let’s continue our study of Yahshua’s way in verse 40 – 44 of Luke 4, in this way: ‘And while the sun was setting, all who had any sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on every one of them, He was healing them.  (41) And demons also were coming out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Son of Elohim!” And rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Messiah. (42) And when day came, He departed and went to a lonely place; and the multitudes were searching for Him, and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from going away from them. (43) But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of Elohim to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.” (44) And He kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.’

Continuing in Luke 8: 1 – 3, we read: ‘And it came about soon afterwards, that He began going about from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of Elohim; and the twelve were with Him, (2) And also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, (3) and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means.’ We read further from Matthew 9: 35 – 38: ‘And Yahshua was going about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. (36) And seeing the multitudes, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd. (37) Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. (38) Therefore beseech the Adonai of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” It was also round about this time that Yahshua sent out His disciples in Matthew 10: 5 – 8 saying: “Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; (6) but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (7) And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ (8) Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons; freely you received, freely give.’” Continuing with the story flow, we read from Luke 9: 10 & 11, ‘And when the apostles returned, they gave an account to Him of all that they had done. And taking them with Him, He withdrew by Himself to a city called Bethsaida. (11) But the multitudes were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of Elohim and curing those who had need of healing.’

Yahshua’s gospel was “the full message of the Kingdom of YHVH.” But what is the message of the Kingdom? We find the answer which is known to most Torah observant Jews in Isaiah 52: 1 – 7, in this way:  “Awake, awake, clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. For the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.(As opposed to what Churchianity teach – when Yahshua returns to rule the world from Jerusalem, no uncircumcised male will enter the Head Quarters from where Yahshua will administer the Kingdom of Elohim one day in the near future.) (2) Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. (3) For thus says YHVH, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.” (4) For thus says YHVH Elohim, “My people went down at the first into Egypt to reside there, then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. (5) Now therefore, what do I have here,” declares YHVH, “seeing that My people have been taken away without cause? “ Again YHVH declares, “Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long. (6) Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.’” (7) How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news (the gospel), who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, “Your Elohim reigns!”

Continuing in Isaiah 61: 1 – 11, we read: ‘The Spirit of YHVH is upon me, because YHVH has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoners; (2) To proclaim the favorable year of YHVH, and the day of vengeance of our Elohim; to comfort all who mourn, (3) to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of YHVH, that He may be glorified. (4) Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations, and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations. (5) And strangers will stand and pasture your flocks, and foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers. (6) But you will be called the priests of YHVH; you will be spoken of as ministers of our Elohim. You will eat the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. (7) Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs. (8) For I, YHVH, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; and I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. (9) Then their offspring will be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples. All who see them will recognize them because they are the offspring whom YHVH has blessed. (10) I will rejoice greatly in YHVH, my soul will exult in my Elohim; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness. As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (11) For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, so YHVH will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.’ The benefits to be had for honestly believing in the true gospel is that as first fruit believers you and I will be blessed with rulership positions in Elohim’s coming Kingdom as Spiritual children of Elohim, who will inherit eternal life as Yahshua showed Yochanan His disciple in Revelation 20: 6, saying: ‘Blessed and holy (set-apart) is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of Elohim and of Messiah and will reign with Him for a thousand years.’ Those who have been deceived to believe that they are going to heaven will be in the second resurrection, which is a resurrection to physical life.

It is during their second life as human beings that they will ultimately be taught the truth of the government of Elohim on earth, since no one will be judged without first being taught these salvation truths, as Isaiah shows in Isaiah 25: 7 – 9, saying: ‘And on this mountain (Elohim’s government on earth) He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, even the veil (the blindness that Satan caused to those who do not believe the gospel of the kingdom of Elohim as witnessed in 2 Corinthians 4: 3 & 4[1]) which is stretched over all nations. (8) He will swallow up death for all time, and YHVH Elohim will wipe tears away from all faces, and He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for YHVH has spoken. (9)  And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our Elohim for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is YHVH for whom we have waited; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation (Yahshua).”’  Those of us called at this time to be disciples, need to truly become the light of the world, showing people as ambassadors of the coming Kingdom of Elohim, how citizens of Elohim’s Kingdom should live in this world. We should already have accepted YHVH as King in our lives and let His will become our will. Yes, we should live by His will and way, applying the Laws applicable in His Kingdom in our lives at this time. Contrary to what many believe, Rav Yochanan tells us in first John 5: 3, saying: ‘For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.’ The essence of the Kingdom message is to declare that the Kingdom is operative today and those accepting the message are already part of it, and are already benefiting from it. Even though Israel have been “brokenhearted”, we

  • are being healed;

  • are liberated to worship YHVH in spirit and truth;

  • are being notified that the “Year of (YHVH)’s favor and the day of vengeance” is coming, and we will be avenged.

  • As Zionists we will be comforted, clothed, crowned and anointed with happiness.

  • The Land of Israel will be returned to the Zionists.

  • As Zionists we will be restored before the nations of the world.

  • Israel will “rebuild the ancient ruins,” the ancient cities of Scripture.

  • Israel will be sovereign of the nations pressing them into servitude.

  • Israel will again be a Kingdom of priests – “ministers of our Elohim.”

  • Israel will receive the “wealth of nations.”

  • By embracing the New Covenant, Israel’s inheritance will be restored in “double portion in their land.”

  • The New Covenant made with Israel is an “everlasting covenant.”

  • Lost Israel scattered among the nations will realize who they are and “will acknowledge that they are a people YHVH (fully) blessed.”

  • Everyone will admit that YHVH elevated the Commonwealth of Israel to become the Kingdom of YHVH on earth.

However, If you want to be part of these benefits of the Kingdom you must come in and claim the Kingdom of United Israel and your identity as an Israelite, as Rav Shaul wrote in Ephesians 2: 11 – 16, saying: Therefor remember, that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Un-circumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— (12) remember that you were at that time separate from Messiah, exclude from the commonwealth of Israel, (consisting of both houses and ruled over by King David) and strangers to the covenants of promise (the covenant that YHVH made with Abraham that he and his descendants will live in the Promised Land eternally – as Spiritual children of Elohim; but also the covenant YHVH made with David, that he will rule over the restored commonwealth of Israel again in what is now, the near future), having no hope and without Elohim in the world.  (13) But now in Messiah Yahshua you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah.” If we will reject the “sin of Jeroboam” – mixing the holy with the profane – and return to YHVH and follow His Messiah we can live in Kingdom benefits. This is the message of the parable of the dinner in Luke 14: 15 – 24, as follows: ‘And when one of those who were reclining at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, “Blessed is everyone who shall eat bread in the kingdom of Elohim!” (16) But He said to him, “A certain man was giving a big dinner, and he invited many; (17) and at the dinner hour he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come; for everything is ready now.’ (18) “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first one said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of land and I need to go out and look at it; please consider me excused.’  (19) “And another one said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please consider me excused.’ (20) “And another one said, ‘I have married a wife, and for that reason I cannot come.’ (21) “And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave, ‘Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ (22) “And the slave said, ‘Master, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’ (23) “And the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. (24) ‘For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste of my dinner.’”

Messiah did not come to Christianize the world, or to save the Jews, but said clearly in Luke 19: 10, ‘For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.’ He also told a Gentile women in Matthew 15: 24, saying: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’ If we from the lost ten tribes who are being called the same way Messiah called His original disciples, and stand by Him the way they stood by Him; what He told them in Luke 22: 28 – 30, will also be applicable to us, as follows: “And you are those who have stood by Me in My trials; (29) and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you (30) that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” In other words, those of Israel who accept the Kingdom message and follow its King are those who share in the benefits of that Kingdom that King Messiah Yahshua initiated during His first advent.  To those who pledge allegiance to King Messiah are His ambassadors and have been empowered to extend the work of the Kingdom. In agreement with this Rav Shaul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5: 16 – 21, saying: ‘Therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh; even though we have known Messiah according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. (17) Therefore if any man is in Messiah, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (18) Now all these things are from Elohim, who reconciled us to Himself through Messiah, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, (19) namely, that Elohim was in Messiah reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. (20) Therefore, we are ambassadors for Messiah, as though Elohim were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to Elohim. (21) He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of Elohim in Him.’ The mission that King Messiah Yahshua passed on to His emissaries, is to shepherd as many of Lost Israel as well as a number of Gentile converts into the Kingdom through the proclamation that the Kingdom is operative now and will soon take its rightful place on this planet. Messiah is bestowing Kingdom responsibilities and benefits to His emissaries and thus inaugurating the Kingdom in exile on those that pledge allegiance to Him as their King.

Messiah gave us a special opportunity and empowered us, His followers, to declare the Kingdom with a sense of boldness that only victory can afford. If we are faithful we will be joint-heirs and co-rulers with Him serving the Twelve Tribes of Israel, as Rav Shaul also witnessed in Romans 8: 16 – 18, saying: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim, (17) and if children, heirs also, heirs of Elohim and fellow heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him.” Are you and I scared in the knowledge of what is soon going to occur in this world? I am sure we are, but so was Messiah scared of what was going to happen to Him before His crucifixion saying in Luke 22:  42,”Father, if Thou art willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Thine be done.” We need to be ever mindful of Rav Yaa’cov’s teaching in James 1: 12, as follows: ‘Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Master has promised to those who love Him.’ Think about it!

[1] 2 Corinthians 4: 3 & 4, ‘And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of Elohim.’
